Our Story
Where We Come From
Born from the Jamaican streets of Top Hill, Shooters District and Linstead — three communities that shaped our identity and fuel our designs.
The JonDel Story
Three Communities. One Vision.
JonDel Design is more than a clothing brand — it's a tribute to the places that raised us. Every stitch, every distressed finish, every bold graphic carries the spirit of three Jamaican communities whose resilience, creativity, and culture run through everything we create.
From the hilltop breezes of Top Hill to the tight-knit yards of Shooters District and the bustling market stalls of Linstead, our roots are woven into every piece. This is streetwear with soul, heritage you can wear, and culture you can feel.

Top Hill
Perched in the hills of St. Catherine, Top Hill is a small district where community bonds run deep and the Jamaican spirit thrives. From its elevated ridges, you can see the lush Jamaican countryside stretching to the horizon — a view that reminds you how vast the world is, even from a place this intimate.
The people of Top Hill are predominantly farmers, entrepreneurs, and self-made professionals. Community spirit runs deep here — neighbors look out for each other, and the traditions of hard work and self-reliance are passed down through every generation. The rich soil and rolling hills produce some of Jamaica's finest crops, sustaining families for decades.
Top Hill taught us that greatness doesn't need a stage — it grows quietly in the hills, in the hands of people who pour everything into their craft. That same philosophy lives in every JonDel piece: meticulous, authentic, and built to last.
Shooters District
Tucked in the rolling hills near Kellits in Clarendon, Shooters District is a tight-knit rural community where everybody knows your name and your grandmother's name too. The parish of Clarendon carries deep historical roots — from early Taino settlements to some of Jamaica's first acts of resistance and rebellion.
Life in Shooters District moves to its own rhythm. Children grow up playing in open yards, elders share stories under mango trees, and the community comes together for everything from harvest to celebration. It's a place where resilience isn't a buzzword — it's a way of life passed down through generations.
The bold spirit of Shooters District is the backbone of JonDel's aesthetic. Our distressed finishes echo the raw, unpolished beauty of the countryside. Our designs carry the fearlessness of a community that has always made its own way.

Linstead
Linstead is a town in the parish of St. Catherine with a population of over 15,000, immortalized in the beloved folk song “Carry Me Ackee Go a Linstead Market.” For centuries, its market has been one of Jamaica's largest and most vibrant — a place where farmers and vendors gather to sell ackee, yams, oranges, and everything the island grows.
Every Christmas Eve, the town comes alive for its legendary Grand Market celebration. Streets overflow with people, small shops burst with gifts and toys, and the square pulses with music and energy. Linstead has also given the world extraordinary talent — from Joseph Hill of the reggae group Culture to Olympic gold medalists Arthur Wint and Asafa Powell.
Linstead's market hustle is the heartbeat of JonDel. The energy of vendors calling out their goods, the vibrant colors of produce stalls, the relentless drive to make something from nothing — that's the same energy we bring to every collection. Bold, unapologetic, and always moving forward.
Our Design DNA
Culture Meets Craft
Every JonDel piece is a conversation between where we come from and where we're going. Here's what our roots taught us:
Patience & Precision
From Top Hill's hand-roasted coffee to our hand-finished distressing, we believe the best things take time. No shortcuts, no compromises — just craft.
Fearless & Raw
Shooters District taught us to be unapologetically bold. Our distressed finishes and rough textures celebrate imperfection as a form of beauty.
Hustle & Heart
Linstead Market's energy runs through our veins. Every collection is built with the same drive — show up early, bring your best, and never stop moving.
